Hammer and Nail is a traditional game often played at parties or informal gatherings, especially in Scandinavia. Here is a description of the rules of the game:

Equipment:

We provide all the equipment.

- A log or wooden block.
- A hammer
- 110 nails

How to play

1) Preparation
- Place the log or wooden block stably on the ground or a table
- Each player receives a nail, which they set into the log, but only just enough so that it stands upright

2) The game begins
- The players stand in a circle around the log
- One player begins by hitting their nail using the hammer. The goal is to drive the nail into the log in as few hits as possible

3) Taking turns
- Each player only gets one hit per turn
- The hammer must be held with one hand, and the player must swing it from below hip height

4) Rotation
- After a player has taken their hit, the hammer passes to the next player in the circle

5) The winner
- The first player to drive their nail completely into the log, so that the head of the nail is level with or below the surface of the wood, wins the game

Tips and Safety

- Ensure that the area around the log is clear to avoid injuries
- Use only the hammer provided to avoid accidents
- Be careful with the hammer to avoid hitting your fingers
